~는/ㄴ 다고 하다 - for verbs (~는 is for 받침 verbs).
~다고 하다 - for adjectives.
~(이)라고 하다 - for nouns.
~았/었다고 하다 - for verbs and adjectives in the past tense.
~(ㄹ) 거라고 하다 - for verbs and adjectives in the future tense.
~지 않는다고 하다 - for negative verbs
~지 않다고 하다 - for negative adjectives
~(이/가) 아니라고 하다 - for negative nouns.
~달라고 하다 - used to quote 주다. e.g. The customer asked the waiter
for some water.
~주라고 하다 - used to quote 주다 involving (at least) 3 people. e.g.
Mark said (to me) to give a book to Paul.
한상호 과장이 축구 동호회 회원을
모집한다고 했어요.
모임 시간은 토요일 오전 열
시라고 했어요.
수진 씨는 다음 달에 결혼한
