2. How many levels are there?

KIIP is divided into 6 levels.

  • Level 0 - Learning Hangul
  • Level 1 - Beginner
  • Level 2 - Advanced Beginner
  • Level 3 - Intermediate
  • Level 4 - Advanced Intermediate
  • Level 5 - Understanding Korean Culture

Level 5 is divided into 2 classes, 기본 and 심화.
심화 is necessary for Korean citizenship.

3. How much does KIIP cost?

The KIIP classes are completely free, but the level test costs 30,000 won.
The KIIP textbooks can be found for free online, or for 7-9,000 won.
